My overall goal is to make healthy choices for myself and Baby Rolex.
Last week, I had two mini-goals:
1. Create a balanced diet and stick to it.
2. Embrace my pregnant body.
This has been a good week for me. I sharply cut my intake of cookies; I only had four Girl Scout Cookies this week...rather than four boxes. I also became more aware of what I was eating.
I'm still working on embracing my pregnant body. I picked out a few super-cute maternity items and have been sporting them proudly this week. My little man has been moving more and more lately; my vanity seems to melt away when I can feel him.
This week, my goal is to take advantage of the good weather and walk at least three times after work.
Now for a Baby Rolex update!
How I'm feeling: Fabulous! First trimester fatigue is gone and I'm feeling like myself again!
How far along: 21 Weeks
Size of Baby Rolex: approximately 12-16 oz. and 10.5 inches
Total Weight Gain: 10 pounds
Maternity clothes: Ordered a few new tops and some full-paneled jeans and slacks.
Movement: He's rockin' and rollin'! I feel him every day!
What I miss: Red wine! Oh my pinot noir...how I miss you! I have chosen to abstain completely during pregnancy.
Cravings: Broccoli! Baby Rolex is a broccoli monster!
Symptoms: None! Just weight gain! Other than that, I'm feeling great!
Best moments this week: Waking up on Saturday morning to baby Rolex's kicks and punches...he was tired of sleeping-in!
Looking forward to: Putting together our baby furniture this week! We ordered the crib, dresser and side-table (for when we turn his crib into a "big boy" bed).
