Rolex has baby on the brain! God help the couple with a small child who steps in Rolex's path. If we see a small child in a restaurant...we're all over it. "How old is she?" "When did she start walking/teething/talking?" "She's so adorable!" "What type of stroller is that?" "Do you find that your Prius is big enough for all of your baby equipment?" Seriously, these are all true-life questions that we have attacked random parents with. If you have a baby, and see us walking towards you at the mall, RUN!
In all honesty, I have been largely absent because baby growing is serious business! For two months, I was bogged down by first-trimester fatigue. It felt like a continuous case of jetlag, that no amount of sleep could cure. It was work to bed, bed to work--every day! Who knew such a tiny little thing could have such an effect? But alas, I have made it through to my second trimester and am feeling like myself again...with a slightly larger tummy.
Yesterday we conducted a mini photo-shoot with the pups. They are super-pumped about being "big-sisters"! Lily (aka "Sister #1") is excited, she just hates having her picture taken; hence the unexcited look on her face.

It's been a slightly depressing, grey, dark and dreary day over here so to go onto Blogger and see this news has me genuinely over the moon! I'm so so chuffed and happy for both you and Rod and excited at the same time for the big arrival in July! You are both good hearted, kind, wonderful people and I know for a fact that you pair are going to be the best parents when little baby Rolex comes along. Congratulations! I had a feeling big news was coming when you hadn't been blogging for awhile. There is a serious 2013 baby boom. We are also expecting our second this summer, June 21st!
My first trimester basically felt like I was hung over every day for two months without the fun of drinking the night before- blah. It does get better though. Awesome news!
